Impermanent

Impermanence is a Teacher.

This beautiful form that we live in
So helpful, and so smart
We are the Earth, water, fire, air
And the stars
This beautiful form that we inhabit
We flow, we move, we write and sing
We are our Ancestors, and loved ones
Their stories and desires
This beautiful temple that we dwell in
So conscious, so alive
We are the gods and goddesses
Housing the formless
This beautiful form that we cherish
We shall one day say goodbye to
We shall leave it behind
With gratitude
This beautiful form
So impermanent
Teaching us
Who we are
And we are change
