Eye of the Storm

Fast feelings
Rushed encounters
All so fast, swirling
Dancing around me
The news on the radio
Fires and broken hearts
The storms of daily life
I am hit by wave after wave
Swept off my feet by the
Strong winds of momentum
It all takes me away
Feeling unsupported
I close my eyes and pray
Diving in and joining my heart
I feel a sudden change in the air
A calm breeze, a slow wave
A vortex of peace calls for me
It pulls me to the center
Everything slows down
I am at the seat of the soul
I am the eye of the storm
Still, I watch it all
Swirling around me
It all comes, and goes
Comes, and goes

We are the eyes.

The Deeper Sense

“Intuition is seeing with the soul.”
(Dean Koontz)

You know
You know
The Deeper Sense
That lives in you
That swallows you whole
Consumes your heart
You know
You know
The Deeper Sense
That lives in you
Soul speaks
And you hear

“Listen to your inner voice… for it is a deep and powerful source of wisdom, beauty and truth, ever flowing through you… Learn to trust it, trust your intuition, and in good time, answers to all you seek to know will come, and the path will open before you.”
(Caroline Joy Adams)

Peace Like A River

I’ve got peace like a river
I’ve got peace like a river
I’ve got peace like a river
In my soul

I’ve got peace like a river
I’ve got peace like a river
I’ve got peace like a river
In my soul

I’ve got love like an ocean
I’ve got love like an ocean
I’ve got love like an ocean
In my soul

I’ve got love like an ocean
I’ve got love like an ocean
I’ve got love like an ocean
In my soul

I’ve got joy like a fountain
I’ve got joy like a fountain
I’ve got joy like a fountain
In my soul

I’ve got joy like a fountain
I’ve got joy like a fountain
I’ve got joy like a fountain
In my soul

Feel the power behind these words.
Sing them, every day.

The Human Touch

‘Tis the human touch in this world that counts,

The touch of your hand and mine,
Which means far more to the fainting heart
Than shelter and bread and wine;
For shelter is gone when the night is o’er,
And bread lasts only a day,
But the touch of the hand and the sound of the voice
Sing on in the soul away.

(Spencer Michael Free)

Ain’t it crazy
How we try to fool the heart
But oh, it is all in vain
The heart knows
The human touch
The longing, the calling
We are here to love
Love it mad
Love it all

Loveliness

“The beautiful spring came; and when Nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also.” (Harriet Ann Jacobs)

The sunshine feels delightful
Awakening all Beings
Yet another cycle is unfolding
Loveliness is in the air
Spring is sprouting
Nature is shouting
Here we go again
Here we go again
